Rochelle Manners is the Director of Rhiza Press and Wombat Books. She is trained as a teacher, counsellor and has a Graduate Diploma in Editing and Publishing.
Rochelle has run a number of other successful imprints including Even Before Publishing. Her passion for encouraging emerging Australian authors led to her establishing The Word Writers and online bookstore, Light the Dark.
Rochelle Manners has also been an author in the educational market.
Having worked in a traditional model and self-publishing model from both sides (publisher, author, editor) and working with different people, Rochelle has experience from all angles.
She is a mum to young children.

Emily Lighezzolo began her journey at Rhiza Press as the chosen candidate from The Australian Publishing Association’s Internship Program. She graduated with Distinction from a double degree in professional writing and public relations at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane. Emily is a literary book worm and always on the look out for the next story to share.
Rachel Sweasey joined the Rhiza Press team as an editor having first begun work experience in 2015. Rachel completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature and Composition at Griffith University. With a passion for stories and a dream to work in the world of words, Rachel is excited about being part of a team that brings into being books that encourage relational connection and growth.
