Peter C.T. Wells grew up in coastal Victoria, Australia. He comes from a creative family. Playing in the bush and on the beach was a fertile place for an imagination to develop. He has always been drawn to stories that explore character in the extremes of human experience.
David Malcolm Bennett is a Christian researcher and writer based in Brisbane who has the gift of doing quality historical research and presenting it in a readable form. His books include The Altar Call: Its Origins and Present Usage (his MTh thesis, awarded with merit) in 2000; The Origins of Left Behind Eschatology (his PhD thesis) in 2010; and Edward Irving Reconsidered, published by Wipf and Stock in 2014.
Mortal Insight is the first novel by E.B. James, though not the first novel this author has released. Previous novels have been written under another name and have been of a completely different genre. Due to a great response in Australia, some of these titles have successfully been introduced into the UK and US markets.
Hazel Barker lives in Brisbane with her husband Colin. She taught in Perth, Canberra and Brisbane for over a quarter of a century and now devotes her time to reading, writing and bushwalking. From her early years, her passion for books drew her to authors like Walter Scott and Charles Dickens. Her love for historical novels sprang from Scott, and the love of literary novels, from Dickens. Many of her short stories and book reviews have been published in magazines and anthologies.
